I’m a Celebrity 2018: Harry Redknapp reunited with wife Sandra as celebs’ loved ones visit camp
If you were watching I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here last night and you didn’t shed a tear then you are some kind of monster! The episode saw the campmates get a visit from their nearest and dearest, which meant we finally got to see Harry’s beloved wife Sandra.Sandra has made a couple of appearances on theI’m a Celeb Extra Camp show on ITV2 but this was the real thing as she finally got to see Harry, who she’s been with for 54 years. And it was everything we imagined it would be with sheer elation written across the former West Ham manager’s face when he first saw Sandra.Even co-presenter Holly Willoughby was unable to hold back the tears and, judging by these tweets below, the rest of the nation was an emotional wreck!Harry wasn’t the only one to experience an emotional reunion as Emily Atack, James McVey, John Barrowman and Fleur East all had visitors from home too.It was a lovely part of the episode which saw all the celebs and their loved ones meet each other in the camp later on.And there was also time for some jokes as Harry managed to get his wife to attempt the floss dance as he did earlier in the series. It’s fair to say Harry and Sandra haven’t got the hang of it though! However, Harry and his fanbase would have got the fright of their lives at the end of the episode as it was he and guitarist for The Vamps James who were in contention to be voted off.But Holly and Dec announced James received the fewest number of votes and it was his time to leave and let’s face it, it would have been a travesty if he finished higher than Harry.James came across as a nice lad, but given I’m not a 14-year-old girl who lovesThe Vamps, I’m able to take a step back and see how entertaining he was on the show – and when you look at that he was on borrowed time.He was also guilty of making a slightly mean comment about Fleur, John and Emily to Harry – accusing them of acting up in a bid to win more votes.James could be right but Harry, who agreed with him, got his point across in a much more amusing way!The early stages of the episode also saw Harry do the Bushtucker Trial called ‘Repvile Centre’.Harry was forced to crawl through this open tunnel and collect stars in these five compartments, each with some less than agreeable reptiles. He was then forced to use a magnet to move the star out of a chute before he could move on, which was harder than it looked. Not to mention there were snakes, crocodiles and a particularly unfriendly perentie that was clearly cheesed off to see Harry crawl through its territory. However, it wasn’t too much for him – quipping that he’s dealt with a few snakes in football during the trial – and got five out of five stars. And Harry will be back in action for the legendary trial ‘Celebrity Cyclone’ in tonight’s semi-final episode. Below you can see a teaser clip for that.
