Everton scout Carlo Jacomuzzi has confirmed the club’s interest in Napoli midfielder Amadou Diawara.The Guinean has been touted as a possible replacement for Idrissa Gueye, who has been linked with a move away from Goodison Parkto French champions PSG.2

Diawara is a target for Everton

The Toffees would need to replace Gueye immediately if he was to leave this month – and Everton talent-spotter Jacomuzzi has confirmed he has been watching the 21-year-old in action.However, he also stated but he has doubts about whether a move would be completed this month.Speaking to Naples based radio station Radio Kiss Kiss, he said: Is there interest?
