He came up towards the away fans about 10m away and he is basically nodding his head and clapping at us.“Without thinking, I picked up this banana skin from the ground and threw it on the edge of the pitch. A man has been charged after allegedly throwing a banana on to the pitch during the north London derby between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal. Thomas Flint, 23, a carpenter, of Enfield, north London, will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court on 12 April. Mr Flint is charged with throwing a missile on to the playing area.
