Tottenham fans stunned as forgotten man Vincent Janssen returns from long-term injury to play for under-23s
Tottenham supporters struggled to believe their eyes on Monday night as Vincent Janssen returned to action.The Dutch striker was announced as part of the Spurs under-23s line-up against Liverpool after a long-term foot injury and played 45 minutes of the fixture.Janssen spent last season at Fenerbahce where he played just 16 matches due to an initial ankle fracture.At the end of the campaign, he suffered another foot injury which has kept him out until January.The 24-year-old joined Tottenham for 17million in 2016, but failed to make his mark and so was loaned out for 2017/18.His return drew a surprised reaction out of the teams faithful, and you can see a social media round-up below.
