Getty1Hate to spoil the Spurs party so early, but this exclusive footage of Jan Vertonghen doesnt look good. Protective boot on his right foot, the crutches. Smells like an ankle ligament injury. Reports on Thursday claimed the injury is not too serious, with the crutches only a precaution due to a ‘minor’ ankle issue. The 32-year-old played Wednesday’s match in a face mask to protect his nose after injuring it during last week’s first leg tie.
